Modern Beauties!!

Check out these beauties!! All three ladies are debuting on the blog for the first time! I had the absolute privilege to work with these three beautiful girls. They all volunteered to help me out for a high fashion shoot for a project I'm working on in my photography class. They all looked gorgeous :)

We started at the ridiculous hour of 7am on a Saturday. When each girl arrived, they were sent to hair and makeup, courtesy of Jessie Fleger with Glamorous Design. Next they came to me for a studio shoot. Finally, we headed to our on-site location for the day!! Look at these troopers with props and coffee in hand...

Chelsea was first up!!  We didn't have the time for a studio session, but she rocked the on-site shoot so well :) She claimed to have no real model experience, but I can't say I believe her entirely. I mean look at these gorgeous images she was giving me. She was a complete natural!

I love, love LOVED Chelsea's hair!! Jessie did such a great job creating our vision :)

I'm loving the expression in this image!!

The lighting was working so well for us during this particular part of the session!! It's absolutely stunning :)

Her eyes were working the camera so well...you know the expression "Smile with your eyes" well,  she's got it down for sure!!

By far my favorite image from her session!! I love her eyes, expression and the lighting just works perfectly.

Had to throw in a fun one...its not ALL serious the whole time :)

Yep! Definitely no amateur here ;)

Erica was the next model up! We started in the studio. I had never worked with studio equipment at all so this was a new experience for me :) Normally I work with only natural lighting. I had so much fun though.

As you will soon see, Erica is a phenomenal model! She is actually a legit professional model :) It was so great to have the opportunity to work with her. She knows exactly what to do and how to work the camera.

Every image of hers is absolutely stunning!! I'm pretty sure she doesn't know how to take a bad picture.

Her makeup also looks flawless in these pictures, thanks to Jessie Fleger!!

I wanted to try out a new technique with a piece of plastic and a spray bottle. It actually turned out better than I expected and looks like actual glass :)

I love this one! The colors are so perfect, and her lips just POP!

I entered this image, among others, into the Student Art Show at Chandler Gilbert. It was selected to be shown in the Art Show and may potentially be sold!! I have never had an image in a show before, so it's pretty exciting. Thanks Erica for making it possible :)

So many of these images turned out, and I just couldn't pass them up!

I mean look at this gorgeous girl...can you blame me?

This is one of my absolute favorites!!

and....this one! There is just something about this one that is so captivating!

I keep wondering what she was "looking at"....these images all look so real like something was really going on outside that makeshift window!! That is a true and talented model :)

Then....on to the on-site location for more great images!

Jessie, helped make this image possible by throwing up the leaves in the background at the perfect time :) Great work girls...it only took us just a few shots to nail this one!! Well worth it.

We had time for an extra studio shoot with Erica, so we got a few great images of her rocking the 60s style!

Love all the images we got of you Erica!!

Last but certainly to least, we have the beautiful Rachel.

She was also a natural in front of the camera.

Her eyes are piercing green and again the makeup just makes her eyes even more fierce!

I'm loving this close up!

My favorite image of Rachel, by far!!

Again, such a talented model!! It seems like this moment is so real and she is watching something.

I love these totally urban shots that we captured on-site! Rachel looked awesome :)

What a good looking lady!!

Rachel as well, was a great model who just stepped up to help out! She was amazing. I had so much fun with all three of these girls. They were all totally & completely different, but they all did a great job. They exceeded my expectations and I had a blast!! I hope you enjoyed this shoot with a couple of modern beauts ;)

Olivia

I absolutely love when a past client returns for more pictures!! We did Olivia's family pictures about a year ago. She has grown up so much, but hasn't outgrown her beautiful blue eyes! She is such a doll to photograph. I love the many expressions that she gave me. Her momma is equally beautiful, so put them together and we've got some dynamite shots! :)

I absolutely love this shot! It just reminds me of something that may have been taken back in the day.

I think this may have been Olivia's first lollipop :) She knew exactly what to do!!

This is one of my favorites from the session. I don't know what it is, but she just has the cutest expression and he eyelashes are just amazing!! I also love the colors. They are so soft and expressive.

There are those gorgeous blue eyes we all know and love :)

Look at that killer smile and those gorgeous blues again!!

I love the expression on her face in this one. One of my favorite things about photographing children is that they never give me a fake expression!! They are so real. If they aren't happy they let me know, but if they are enjoying a pink and yellow lollipop, there is no denying that either :) Sometimes for the sake of pictures I wish us adults could turn that quality on!

Another one of my favorites. She would only laugh a giggle hysterically if she was chasing me. I had to run and run and then be quick and turn around and snap some shots, and then do it again and again :) It was so funny. As soon as I would stop running she wouldn't start to cry.  I guess there is just something about chasing the girl who keeps trying to get in your face with a camera!! It was definitely one of the cutest moments from the session, among others of course! :)

This one is adorable too :)

This place was so perfect for Olivia's session. It was like it was made just for her shoot!! :)

Here is another shot of the girls chasing me :) By far my favorite of them. It just shows such a real moment!

At one point she had one lollipop in each hand and would switch between the two. She kept going back to the pink and yellow one. I'm not sure if it taste better, or because it was smaller and was easier to suck on :)

She was all full of smiles at this point :)

She only seemed to be content if she has her snacks close by, or in her mouth, or just the container in her mouth :) When she dropped a few on the ground she would cry only until Mom and I picked them up, and then she was content again :) She didn't want to leave a mess I suppose!! What a good citizen :)

Mom did a great job styling her outfit, and Olivia did a great job rocking it :)

Olivia and I played peek-a-boo around this chair for a few minutes.

"Mom, being a model is just hard work..."

This one is so priceless. I just love her expression. She is looking up at her mamma with adoring eyes :)

This was by far one of my favorite sessions yet!! I loved everything about it. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Please leave your feedback!! I would love to hear it :)
